This is one of a trilogy that I've done in 2021.

The Sahara Nomad is a travelling man.

He travels through the three paintings, but he's journey is unknown.

These can be bought as singles, but the beauty lies in the story of the trilogy.

Safi Home Design wants to be part of a world where everything is unique, away from the mass produced, mass marketed, single use products.

We want to bring you unique, long lasting, handmade and stylish designs created in Morocco by artist who seek a platform to show their beautiful creations with the rest of the world. We at Safi Home Design want to be that platform for them.

We also want to use Safi Home Design as our own creative outlet. That's why we created and painted custom collections ourselves that are our own modern styles for you to enjoy and use.

Where is Safi Home Design located

We are located in Nürnberg, Germany.

Where does the name Safi Home Design come from?

The name Safi comes from the city name of Safi in Morocco. This city is world famous for their pottery and is also the birthplace of Maouia who is half of the Safi Home Design team.

When was Safi Home Design founded

Safi Home Design was founded in January 2022, but the idea started in 2019 when Maouia saw the potential of the beautiful Moroccan pottery in Europe (and even the world).

Where are your products produced?

All our products are produced in Safi, Morocco.

Can I put your pottery in the dishwasher?

Yes you can. However be aware that you should not use any abrasive or aggressive detergents to clean.

What's the difference between red and white clay?

First obvious difference is the colour of course. secondly, red clay is a little rougher and when using red clay cups to drink (for instance) coffee it will darken on the inside. White clay is smoother and will not change in colour.

Can I place the pottery in the microwave?

No, our pottery is 100% natural and is not made for the microwave.

Can I place the pottery in the oven?

No, our pottery is not made to use in an oven.

Does our pottery have a taste or smell?

No not at all. All our pottery has gone through a thorough baking process and are all varnished. there is no taste or smell at all.
